Additionally:
- At the installation site there must be provided a safe access to the module and the ventilation AHU, in accordance
with the H&S rules.
- During any operations with the device the user's operating personnel must be present.
- Once the service is completed, a person appointed by the user will be trained in relation to operation and mainte-
nance of the devices.
- Ambient temperature below -5
°
C and precipitation prevent from starting up the device.
Before starting the burner the AHU should have the ventilation system
adjusted. During the system adjustment the burner bypass damper
should be fully open.
- It is recommended to install a filter for air drawn in by the burner during gas combustion, if the system operates in an
area with contaminated air (inquiry to the service dept.).
- It is recommended to use condensate neutralizer, if required by the designer or local environmental agency (inquiry
to the service dept.).
- Once the system is adjusted it is necessary to adjust opening of the bypass damper (if equipped), setting the flow
defined in the AHU Data Sheet.

Figure No. 26
Connecting supply of the water humidifier
It is necessary to set an appropriate flow of supplying water in order to enable correct system operation. If water
composition is not known, it is recommended to estimate 0,5 l/min for 1m
2
of the front humidifier surface.
NOTE!
It is necessary to install at least G3 class filter upstream the humidifier in order to maintain clean opera-
tion of the humidifier with trickling filter. In case of systems working with air containing organic dusts it
is necessary to install the F7 class filter.
Observe instructions of the humidifier's manufacturer during the assembly.
b)
Steam humidifier
–
the humidifier using external (process) steam
The humidification blocks, depending on the humidification medium, offer different location of the connectors.
The humidifier assembly is dependent on the lance positioning in relation to the distributor. If the humidifier
lance is installed at the same level as the distributor, you can apply the arrangement indicated at Figure No.28.
Steam heating the lance flows directly to the distributor and it does not need separate dehydration.
