Connecting DX coolers (direct expansion coolers)
NOTE!
1. In order to protect AHU mechanisms against overheating it is necessary to provide the water or steam supply
lock at the AHU shutdown (e.g. solenoid valve) for AHUs with heaters featuring medium circuit exceeding 100
°
C.
2. The exchangers connectors should be connected in such a way to enable counterflow operation mode.
3. The water cooler's condensate drip tray connector diameter is the same as for the DX cooler.
4. It is recommended to replace drain plugs with valves and vent plugs with vents.
5. The DX coolers are filled with nitrogen at 0,03 MPa which prevents the humidity to penetrate inside.
Gas heating module
The burner start-up is carried out by service personnel with the qualification certificate issued by the manufacturer.
Please contact Klimor service department or the burner's manufacturer to schedule the start-up.
The following conditions must be met before starting-up and adjusting the system:
Scope of work to be carried out by the installation
company:
1. The AHU is assembled and activated.
2. The air supply temperature sensor is installed (at a
duct, downstream the module, about 3 meters).
3. Passages in the protection sleeves through the AHU
cover for gas pipes and condensate pipe are provided.
4. The gas carcass is completed (4) to the burner, in
line with the burner's OMM, the system is deaerated
and activated (gas pressure according to the burner's
OMM).
5. The fume release funnel is installed (5). Depending
on the gas module type, the funnel can also be located
on the side opposite to the operational one.
6. The condensate pipe is led outside the AHU outline
(6)
Ø
20. Connection with the on-site condensate outlet,
if available.
7. Electrical connections provided:
a. A power lead to the control box installed at the
module.
b. The burner's power lead.
c. The burner's control leads.
d. A control lead
–
0÷10V power control.
e. A control lead
–
start/stop signal.
f. A lead to the air supply temperature sensor.
g. Optionally, a lead to communicate the module's
operation and failure status to the AHU's controller.
