6. ASSEMBLY, INSTALLATION AND CONNECTING AHUS
6.1 AHU assembly
The AHUs should be installed indoors (roof AHUs are exception) meeting general health and safety requirements.
These should be dedicated and closed rooms with no access of unauthorized people equipped with ventilation sys-
tem enabling one full air exchange per hour.
What is more,
the room should be free from chemical contamination, smoke and dust, and internal tempera-
ture in winter should not be lower than +5
°
C, and in summer not higher than +40
°
C. Air humidity should not
exceed 60
%.
Installation of the AHUs outdoors or in rooms with lower temperature should be discussed with
Klimor
at the design
and equipment selection phase.

*Framework height can be changes, if the AHU is made in a form of a monoblock with the PR or RR heat recovery.
**Longer sections are equipped with additional transverse supports located in the center related to its length.

Dimensions of framework made of bent channel bars
Dimensions marked with a equality sign are the same. Their max length is provided in the table below.
Building frame must be designed to provide support for all elements of the longitudinal and transverse AHU frames.
If the SE AHU is equipped with the RR rotary heat exchanger section, there is no frame under casing located outside
the AHU contour.
6.1.2 Connecting the segments
In case of AHU delivery in separate blocks the individual sets should be
screwed in using joins fixed in appropriate places and provided screw joints.
Before screwing planes of one section framework's profiles, attach double
rubber gasket.
If section connection is located between heat exchangers or other sec-
tion with difficult access, remove one of the heat exchangers and
screw both block joints together.
Slide in the heat exchangers once the elements are connected.
