Dane techniczne
There is a two-section damper mounted on the inlet to
the exchanger: one part on the exchanger and the other
on the by-pass. Both sections are coupled with each
other. At full flow through the exchanger, the damper
by-pass section is closed. Closing the exchanger section
opens the by-pass section.
Air is directed only through the by-pass, as a standard,
during the summer season or when the frost protection
of the exchanger is activated.
The frost protection system protects the exchanger
against the effects of excessive cooling and freezing of
the exhaust part of the exchanger.
The protection consists of:
• actuator of the cross-flower damper
• differential pressure sensor before and behind the ex-
changer on the exhaust air side,
• regulator.
When the preset pressure drop on the pressure switch is
reached (by 150% of the design drop value), as a result
of the exchanger’s abrasion, the regulator gives a signal
to the actuator. The damper on the exchanger is closed
and the air flow is opened through the by-pass. This
happens until the exchanger heats up and melts the
ice/frost collected inside the exchanger. From this mo-
ment on, the damper on the exchanger starts to open,
passing through the exchanger an increasing flow of
fresh air.
NOTE: The anti-frost cross-freeze system of the
counter-current cross-flow exchanger is supplied
within the scope of delivery of the automation sys-
tem
5.5 Air swirl diffuser
The EVORX indoor unit is equipped with a swirl diffuser
for air supply.
The diffuser is made of steel sheet powder-coated white
9016. It has movable blades for correct direction of the
air stream depending on the supply air temperature.
The blades are driven by a wax actuator that does not
require a power supply or control signal.
