3. TECHNICAL ACCEPTANCE
The units, fully assembled, are subject to the KLIMOR
Quality Control. On this basis, a certificate is issued con-
firming that the quality and performance requirements
specified in the order are met.
3.1 Design of the units
EVO-RX and EVO-RX HPM units are adapted to work in
outdoor conditions
3.1.1 Enclosure, frame and supporting structure
EVO-RX and EVO-RX HPM units are closed devices with
dimensions that cannot be modified. The designer selects
the air treatment functions within the scope of the device
operation.
The AHU consists of an outdoor and indoor unit.
The basic components of the modules are:
• self-supporting construction,
• functional units,
• housing components.
The housing of the module is:
• skeleton,
• panels.
The skeleton is made of steel profiles, connected by
corners made of constructional material: the stiffening
elements are omega sectional profiles, so-called
”ribs”. They are made of the same materials as the skele-
ton. The sectional profiles are at the same time a sup-
porting structure for individual functional units mount-
ed inside the AHU.
The user’s interference in the supporting
structure (its dismantling, drilling, cut-
ting out) may result in the unsealing of
the air handling unit and loss of warranty.
Panels are made in the “sandwich” technology. There is a
distinction between: covers and service covers.
Panels consist of external and internal sheet metal (gal-
vanized or galvanized and coated), separated by a pro-
file, eliminating thermal bridges. The space between
the sheets is filled with non-flammable mineral wool.
The covers are riveted to the skeleton. They constitute
the upper, rear and lower walls of the housing. The floor
is additionally supplemented with a polyurethane plate,
mounted from the inside of the casing.
From the service side there are cover-type panels fixed
to the frame for clamps.
Connections of covers with the frame are sealed with a
rubber seal.
All gaps between the covers and the frame are filled
with sealing compound.
The outdoor unit is additionally equipped with trans-
port handles and the indoor unit with mounting flange
and transport eyebolts.
The unit is equipped with pulse stub pipes for connect-
ing the filter pressure switches
3.1.2 Air intake/outlet
The air intake/outlet is made as a ventilation fitting with
steering wheels and a net. Its role is to cover the air in-
let/outlet from rain, wind and solids larger than
10×10mm. It’s fixed to the damper.
3.1.3 Air dampers
Shut-off dampers are mounted on the outer module
enclosure at the air inlets and outlets. The design with
built-in hidden blade drive in a double aluminium pro-
file allows for operation in atmospheric conditions. The
damper actuators are covered, but the actuators with a
degree of protection of min. used.
