Inserting the battery in the remote control
1. The cover of the battery compartment can be removed by gently pulling it down.
2.
Insert the battery into the battery compartment. Pay attention to the negative and
positive poles of the battery.
3. Replace the cover of the battery compartment and fasten it properly.
OPERATION
Note:
Do not operate the appliance without an inserted air filter! Without the air
filter, the inside of the appliance will be heavily contaminated. This could reduce the
performance and result in damage to the appliance.
Behaviour in the event of an emergency
1. Switch off the appliance.
2.
In an emergency, disconnect the unit from the power supply. Always pull the mains
plug out of the socket by the plug and not by the cable.
3. Do not reconnect a defective appliance to the mains supply.
Start-up
•
Do not use the air cooler near curtains or other flammable materials and objects.
Keep a minimum distance of 0.5 m from walls, equipment and objects.
•
Keep doors and windows closed when the appliance is in operation.
Switching the appliance on
Once you have completely installed the appliance, you can switch it on.
After switching on, all LED lights light up for approx. 1 second. At the same time, a long
buzzing tone sounds. Then all LED lights go out and the appliance switches to standby
mode.
•
Press the On/Off button (21).
• The appliance starts in cooling mode and then switches to natural wind mode. The
swing function is also activated during initial start-up.
•
When you start the appliance for the first time, the appliance runs at low fan speed
(32) in normal wind mode (no display) by default.
