Choosing the right cookware
Make sure that the base of
your cookware is smooth,
sits flat against the glass,
and is the same size as the
cooking zone.
Always centre your pan on
the cooking zone.
Always lift pans off the ceramic hob.
Do not slide! This may scratch the glass.
5. Choosing the right cookware
Do not use cookware with jagged edges or
a curved base.
Only use cooking utensils suitable for induction
operation.
Pay attention to the appropriate symbol for induc-
tion suitability when purchasing.
The following formula applies: Magnetic cookware
is also suitable for induction.

Only use cookware that complies with the minimum bottom diameter shown in the
table in the following section.
If you use cookware with a diameter of less than 140 mm, you may experience
problems with detection.
The amount of magnetic metal particles in the cookware varies.
The higher this percentage, the better the detection rate and efficiency.
