10. Mounting the hood
•
First perform a function test by plug
-
ging in the appliance and switching
it on.
• On a concrete / plaster ceiling:
Drill ø 8mm holes into the ceiling at
the marked points, carefully tap the
plugs into the drill holes with a ham
-
merand use the 6x 60mm screws for
the fixation.

• On a wooden ceiling:
Tighten the plate with the ST4 screws
(30mm).

Then use 8 M5 screws to connect the
suspension plate to the angle bars.
•
Extend the angle rods to the desired
height and fix them with 16 M5 screws
and nuts.
Important:
The overlap length must
be at least 100 mm.
•
Securely fasten the suspension plate
to the ceiling.
The procedure depends on the type
of ceiling.
See the following steps:
•
Remove the protective films, except
from the chimney, to avoid scratches.
•
Position the suspension plate on the
ceiling, if necessary with the round
hole on the exhaust opening, and
mark the position of the screw holes.
