6.3 The double zone function
• This function only works on zone No.
1
and
4
.
• The double cooking zones have two or three heating areas,
so you can use a central and an enlarged area.
You can use only the central heating zone
(A)
or both zones
(B)
at once.
Activating the double zone function
• Select the desired dual cooking zone and set the heating level.
The central area
(A)
switches on as usual.
• Now press the corresponding cooking zone selection button again.
While the heating level indicator is flashing,
press the dual cooking zone control
to additionally activate
the second heating zone
(B)
.
After 5 seconds the indicator stops flashing and a red dot next to
the
- icon indicates that the double zone function is activated.
Deactivating the double zone function
• During the cooking process, touch the corresponding cooking zone
selection button and then the dual zone button
or switch off the zone by sliding it down to power level 0.
• When the hob is switched off, the function is also deactivated and must
be reset if necessary.
