Using Time Lapse Mode
By selecting Time Lapse mode you can take a series of photos at set intervals,
when stitched together it will create a video effect of a very slow frame rate to
show movement over a long period of time. Photos captured in Time Lapse
mode will be saved as single files and external software is required to convert
the captured photos into a video file. The Time Lapse settings can be changed
in the Settings mode.
Note:
To activate the time lapse feature it must be programmed in the main
settings menu first.
1. Turn on the camera and press the Power/Mode Button (3) until you enter
Settings mode.
2. Use the up and down keys (10) (12) to scroll through the options in the
menu until you see Time lapse.
3. Press the Shutter/Ok Button (1) to enter the setting and apply the time
intervals in which you would like the camera to take a photograph.
4. Press the Shutter/Ok Button (1) to select the appropriate time and you will
be back on the main settings menu.
5. Use the up and down keys (10) (12) to scroll through the options in the menu
again until you see Continuous lapse.
6. Press the Shutter/Ok Button (1) to turn continuous lapse on or off.
7. Press the Shutter/Ok Button (1) to confirm your selection.
8. Press the Power/Mode Button (3) to exit the settings menu.
9. Press the Shutter/Ok Button (1) to start/stop the time lapse.
When the continuous lapse feature is turned off, the chosen duration in the
time lapse setting will become the self timer duration instead.
