During emergency call, the base unit will hold every incoming call through call
waiting and display the number on base unit without sounding the ringer (Call waiting
function can be used only based on the register and approval from local telecom service
centre)
Emergency call through pendant
Press the red button once on the pendant to call emergency numbers which
preset in the menu, the SOS numbers will display on the LCD as well as lighted LED
on the top of the pendant, also loud alarm sound and flash in the base. (Other SOS
operations in the pendant are the same as in the base)
Pendant low battery
The pendant will make alarm noise and the pendant top white light will flash every 10 seconds
when the pendant batteries are in low level and should be place on the charger
Total power failure
Kindly note that the KT-6450D is a DECT system that needs power to work (either batteries or
power supply). Please see below important information during power failure; when power
failure, the base unit is STILL ACTIVE in analog line, when picking up the handset:
1.
In power failure, only the handset of the base unit works in normal analog line.
2.
When the call party calls the unit, only a normal melody will be sound and when
picking up the handset, can only start conversation after 1-2 seconds.
3.
When picking up the handset, can only hear the line and start dialing in 1-2
seconds
4.
Flash time will be 100ms as default and the dial mode will be Tone as default
5.
Pick up the handset and press REDIAL/PAUSE key, it can redial the number
6.
Pick up the handset and dial the number in normal speed
7.
Pendant will not work and or neither the SOS in the base!!! Also most of the
important function of the unit will not be active, only normal analog line in talk
mode
