MST42PL Porcelain Liner Installation
Instructions: (NOTE:
Porcelain Liners should be installed BEFORE Log Grates or Glass Tray.)
Step One: Remove Main Burner (refer to
Burner Removal
section). If Log Grates or Glass Tray are installed, they
must be removed also.
Step Two: Bend retainer clips away from firebox wall (See below).
Step Three:
Tilt and slide Liners against each wall of firebox.
Use caution when moving liner over pilot area
.
Step Four: Bend retainer clips back to secure liner. Procedure is the same for both sides of fireplace.
Step Five: Reinstall all components.
MCVST42-H Ceramic Glass Units
Do not remove Baffle to install Porcelain Liners.
MCVST42 Tempered Glass Units
Do not remove Glass Heat Deflectors to install Porcelain
Liners.

[1] –Pilot Side Liner
[1] – Side Liner
Bend Retainer Clips away
from firebox wall. Bend back
to secure Porcelain Liner.
Remove 4 Screws to
remove Burner Assembly.
Pilot Side Liner
Baffle
Glass Heat
Deflectors

Note: Warping and Discoloration of Porcelain or Painted Metal Liners Is Not Covered Under Warranty.
Both Porcelain and Painted Metal Liners may discolor and warp during normal operation of your appliance.
This is normal, and not considered a defect.
