Step One:

Frame Fireplace with nailing tabs oriented as shown

(flush with face of fireplace).

Step Two: Use Concrete Board to cover fireplace face.
NOTE: Optional ZCV-TLK Tile Kit is available. Maintain
clearances shown. See bottom drawings also.
