Operation Burner operation
•
Push and turn the control knob around to the spark zone (
) of the control and the thermocouple will
spark multiple times until the gas lights; release immediately.
•
Reduce the gas level to suit the cooking required.
•
If the gas fails to light first time, please try again.
•
After cooking, switch off the burner by turning the control knob back to the off position (
).

CAUTION:
If there is no electric current you can light the burners with a piezo
electric spark gas ignitor.
The burners can only be lit with the safety thermocouples when the control knob
is on MAXIMUM.
Do not use cooking vessels on the hob that overlap the edges of the pan
supports.
WARNING:
Always switch off the electricity and gas supply before performing
maintenance work. In the event of a fault, contact customer services at the end
of the care and maintenance section.
Controlling the cooker hood remotely
IMPORTANT:
This section is only applicable if you have also purchased a
compatible cooker hood with Radio Frequency (RF) capability. Contact the
Customer Helpline at the end of this manual for compatible models.

Before First Use
This gas hob model and a compatible cooker hood model must be paired by Radio Frequency (RF) before
remote control can occur.
When connected the power output of the gas hob will control the extraction rate of the cooker hood.
