Putting into operation
Take the sanding paper and place it on the sanding pad.
Make sure that the dust extraction holes coincide. Fix the
sanding paper in position by pressing firmly (with your hand).
Check the mains voltage: The voltage of your power source
must be the same as that specified on the tool’s rating plate.
SWITCHING ON/OFF
To switch on, simply move the switch at the bottom of the
tool from 0 to 1.
Replacing the sanding paper
The sanding pad features Velcro-type backing for fast fixing
of the sanding paper without a mechanical clamping device.
Before you attach new sanding paper, remove all dust from
the sanding pad by tapping and cleaning with a brush or
compressed air.
Dust extractor
The dust extractor prevents
serious soiling and high
dust levels in the air your
breathe, and it also makes
it easier to dispose of the
waste dust.
Maintenance and cleaning
The machine requires no maintenance
Make sure that the ventilation slots are unobstructed and
clean at all times.
Keep the extraction holes in the oscillating plate clean.
If you discover that the machine has a defect in spite of it
having been manufactured and tested with all due care,
have the machine repaired by a specialist.
Notes on working with the machine
The triangular sander is particularly efficient at sanding hard-
to-reach corners and edges. It is possible to work with just
the tip or one edge of the sanding disk when sanding profiles
and flutes. Assorted grades of sanding paper are available
to suit the workpiece material and the depth of surface
removal required. The intensity of sanding depends mainly
on your choice of sanding paper and the controlled pressure
you apply to the sanding disk.
Environmental protection
Remember that waste prevention is better than waste
disposal.
Dispose of packaging, accessories, defective components
and machines in an environment-friendly manner, i.e.
classify and recycle.
Ask you local council offices for advice.
