KF10D Installation
1.
Before installing the faucet, open the hot and
cold water supply lines for several seconds to
flush out any scale, solder, or other impurities
that would otherwise damage the faucet. Then
close the water supply stops.
2.
Ensure that rubber gasket is mounted to the base
of faucet, with flat surface of gasket facing up and
the contoured surface of the gasket facing down
to seal to either with the countertop, or the sink.
3.
Disassemble mounting hardware (items 8 and 9
and 10) from the faucet.
4.
Insert the faucet body through the faucet hole.
The faucet hole must be a minimum of 1.375” and
a maximum of 1.500”.
5.
Position faucet with desired orientation of handle
(item 5x1). Handle will rotate approximately 90
degrees. Tighten faucet in position with handle in
midpoint of rotation.
6.
Tighten the faucet to the countertop in the
following order:
1st flat black rubber gasket (item 8x1)
2nd flat stainless washer (item 9x1)
3rd stainless locknut (item 10x1).
4th tighten machine screws so that stainless
locknut (item 10x1) is jammed in place
and cannot loosen over time.
If faucet is mounted directly to sink,
assembly of components as follows:
1st plastic mounting bracket (item 11x1)
2nd flat black rubber gasket (item 8x1)
3rd flat stainless washer (item 9x1)
4th stainless hex nut (item 10x1)
7.
Stainless steel braided supply hose (items 12x1
and 13x1) have been supplied with the faucet.
Install the supply hose to the faucet taking care to
match the color code of faucet fitting and hose.
Tighten the hose until the o-ring seats.
8.
Connect stainless braided supply hose (items
12x1 and 13x1) to their respective supply lines.
Red indicates hot water supply and blue indicates
cold water supply.
9.
Ensure that faucet lever is in the off position and
then turn water supply back on and check for
water tight seal. Retighten components where
necessary, but do not overtighten.
