Please read the entire manual before operating your Kinderfeets
Kinderboard.
Thank you very much!
Congratulations! We hope you’ll enjoy your new Kinderfeets Kinderboard.
This multi-use toy was originally developed for use in Waldorf (Steiner)
early childhood classrooms. It was created to help children develop a sense
of balance, stimulate their vestibular system, and gain a deep sense of
awareness of their body and body parts.
Your Kinderboard is ideal for stimulating child development—both physical
and mental. It offers open-ended play opportunities for toddlers, children,
teens, and even adults. A Kinderboard can be used both indoors and out
(but keep it dry!). It’s perfect for rainy days inside and sunny days outdoors.
It’s suitable for use at home or in a school environment.
Watch a child’s imagination take over when their Kinderboard arrives. It
becomes a seesaw, a balance board, a slide, a foot stool, a boat, a resting
place, a doll’s bed, a puppet stage, a bridge, or a tunnel. The possibilities
are endless—and truly up to them to explore! Adults can integrate a
Kinderboard into their personal fitness regime including yoga or aerobic
exercise classes.
WARNING! Must be supervised by an adult.
Use safely!
Please read these instructions before using your Kinderfeets Kinderboard.
This is a moving toy. It must be used with care at all times to avoid injury.
• When using a Kinderboard for the first time please ensure people are
taught to avoid fingers becoming caught between the floor and the
Kinderboard. Ensure this lesson is being applied correctly at all times.
• Not suitable for children under 18 months old. Common sense should also
be used to assess a child’s ability to use a Kinderboard safely based on their
size and coordination skills.
• Intended for use with children and adults up to a weight of 485 lb (220 kg).
• Check your Kinderboard for damage or other problems before using for
the first time. Continue checking it regularly. It should only be used if its
structural integrity has been evaluated and verified.
• This is a wood product. Damage may occur if it’s dropped or handled
roughly on a hard surface. Wear and tear is not covered by warranty.
• Children should only use a Kinderboard under the supervision of an adult.
• Must be used in a safe and sensible manner. Apply common sense at
all times.
• Never use a Kinderboard on stairs, near swimming pools, on public roads,
steep hills, an unstable surface or any area with traffic.
• Keep packaging away from children to avoid injury or suffocation.
Precautions:
Before using your Kinderfeets Kinderboard, please ensure it is
not damaged and that it is in good condition.
Clean your Kinderfeets Kinderboard using a mild cleaning agent, clean water
and a soft cloth. Store your Kinderfeets Kinderboard in a dry place when not
in use.
Do not store it in a location where water condensation can build up
overnight (such as in a shed or on a balcony); or in an area with high
humidity (such as a bathroom or kitchen with a condensation dryer). In
tropical areas, store your Kinderboard in a cool, well-ventilated location.
A
Attention:
Your Kinderboard does not come with protection on this
side. We believe in enjoying a Kinderboard in its purest form — as originally
intended. This allows unrestricted imaginative play such as using it as a slide.
If you’re concerned about damaging floor surfaces or the Kinderboard itself
try using it on carpet or some other soft floor covering. Do not use on any
surface that could move without warning while the board is in use.
