Yellow LED (“Ready”):
indicates normal operation of the module

Green LED (“OK”):
activated by a correct identification. It may also be driven by
the Host, in Online mode.

Red LED (“Error”):
activated by an incorrect identification. It may also be driven
by the Host, in Online mode.

Red and Green flashing together:
no connection was established with the
FingerVein sensor.
Outlets to LEDs are available on connector J2.
4.4. Optical barrier
When the FingerVein VIM detects finger presence on the biometric sensor, it issues an
OnKey event. The associated key code is configured under parameter $05. Please refer
to

Persistent detection of finger presence leads to an error status, notified to the host
through an
event, with argument code 0xE0. When the finger is
withdrawn, the optical barrier goes back to normal while generating a new
event, with argument code 0x00.
