The behaviour of the serial ports is defined from the
$1A, $1B

configuration
parameters:
Depending on the function associated to the port and baud rate, the values to be assigned
are detailed in the following table.
7.1.2. Event configuration
FingerVein VIM has the capability to start communications to the Host when any event
occurs in the machine (e.g. a key is pressed). The following parameters can be
configured:
