Winterization & Storage
Expel Water (Continued):
Step 4

Connect your air supply to the air supply fitting. Turn on your air supply and allow air into the system until all
water is purged. This will take several minutes.
Caution!
Make certain the drain plug is removed from the front of the trolley
before running air through the system.
Drain Hoses:
Step 1—Disconnect both supply lines running to the generators and the hand held nozzle if purchased, and point them
downward toward the ground, allowing them to drain completely. Once drained, these lines can be reconnected for
storage.
Expel Lines:
Step 1

Turn on the Master Control Switch on the Control Panel and place the sanitizer switch in the manual position.
Step 2

Press & hold the trigger on the sanitation spray gun to expel any liquid that may be left in the supply line.
Step 3

Open the valve to Injection Pump #1.
Step 4

Press & hold the Prime switch for Injection Pump #1 to expel any liquid that may be left in the supply line.
Once expelled, close the valve to Injection Pump #1. If Injection Pump #2 was used, expel that line as well.
Drain Tanks
Step 1

Drain the sanitation tank by removing the plug on the front of the tank. Once completely drained, replace the
plug.
Step 2

If the secondary tank was used, drain by removing the plug on the tee located behind the tank.
Drain Metal Parts:
Step 1
-
Open the petcock on the bottom of the pump housing. The
petcock can be left open for storage.
It is
IMPERATIVE
that you follow these winterization instructions precisely to
prevent damage to your unit!
Freezing will not damage the Polyethylene
hard hose tube used on the Avi-FoamGuard
.
Even though the tube does not
need to be drained you must follow the winterization instructions.
