Step 31:  Attach Swing Ground Stakes

A:

  Drive one (0318) Ground Stake 10-1/2” into the ground at each (1863) SW Post and attach with 2 (S3) #8 x 

2-1/2” Wood Screws per ground stake. (fig. 31.1 and 31.2)

WARNING:

  To prevent tipping and avoid potential injury, stakes must 

be driven 10-1/2” into ground.  Digging or driving stakes can be dangerous 

if you do not check first for underground wiring, cables or gas lines.
