10. If distortion exceeds specification, resurface block deck.
Maximum material removal: 0.008 in (0.20 mm)
CAMSHAFT
1. Set front and rear camshaft bearing journals on V-blocks.
2. Position a dial indicator on center bearing journal and zero dial.
3. Rotate camshaft in V-blocks and check runout.
Runout: 0.0012 in (0.03 mm) maximum
