Battery replacement

Folding key

Smart key

The transmitter uses a 3 volt lithium bat

-

tery which will normally last for several
years. When replacement is necessary,
use the following procedure.

1. Insert a slim tool into the slot and gen

-

tly pry open the transmitter centre
cover.

2. Using a slim tool, gently pry open the

battery cover.

3. Replace the battery with a new bat

-

tery (CR2032). When replacing the
battery, make sure the battery posi

-

tion.

4. Install the battery in the reverse order

of removal.

For transmitter replacement, Kia recom

-

mends to visit an authorised Kia dealer/
service partner.
