Smart Cruise Control (SCC)

conditions whenever using Smart
Cruise Control.

僅 Smart Cruise Control is not a substi

-

tute for safe driving. It is the responsi

-

bility of the driver to always check the
speed and distance of the vehicle
ahead.

僅 Be careful when driving downhill

using Smart Cruise Control.

僅 Limited visibility (rain, snow, smog,

etc.)

僅 Cruise function should not be used

when the vehicle is being towed to
prevent any damage.

僅 Always set the vehicle speed under

the speed limit in your country.

僅 Unexpected situations may lead to

possible accidents. Pay attention con

-

tinuously to road conditions and driv

-

ing even when Smart Cruise Control is
being operated.

Setting

Type A

Type B

1. Press the Driving Assist button to turn

the function on. The CRUISE indicator
in the instrument cluster will illumi

-

nate.

2. Accelerate to the desired speed.

Smart Cruise Control speed can be set
as follows:
僅 Push down the SET- switch and

hold it. Your vehicle set speed is
below 10 km/h (5 mph) and over
180 km/h (110 mph).

3. The cruise indicator light will illumi

-

nate. distance indicator on the cluster
is appeared and the CRUISE indicator
is illuminated continuously.

4. If there is no vehicle in front of you,

the set speed will be maintained, but if
there is a vehicle in front of you, the
speed may decrease to maintain the
distance to the vehicle ahead. If the
vehicle ahead accelerates, your vehi

-

cle will travel at a steady cruising
speed after accelerating to the set
speed.
