Rear View Monitor (RVM)
Rear View Monitor (RVM) (if

Rear View Monitor will activate when the
engine is running and the shift lever is in
the R (Reverse) position.
This is a supplemental function that
shows behind the vehicle through the
mirror or navigation display whilst back
-
ing-up.
WARNING
Rear View Monitor is not a safety device.
It only serves to assist the driver in iden
-
tifying objects directly behind the middle
of the vehicle. The camera does NOT
cover the complete area behind the
vehicle.
WARNING
僅 Never rely solely on the rear camera
display when backing up.
僅 ALWAYS look around your vehicle to
make sure there are no objects or
obstacles before moving the vehicle in
any direction to prevent a collision.
僅 Always pay close attention when the
vehicle is driven close to objects, par
-
ticularly pedestrians, and especially
children.
NOTICE
僅 Do not spray the camera or its sur
-
rounding area directly with a high
pressure washer. Shock applied from
high pressure water may cause the
device to not operate normally.
僅 Do not use any cleanser containing
acid or alkaline detergents when
cleaning the lens. Use only a mild
soap or neutral detergent, and rinse
thoroughly with water.
僅 If the camera lens is covered with for
-
eign material, Rear View Monitor may
not operate normally. Always keep the
camera lens clean. However, do not
use chemical solvents such as strong
detergents containing high alkaline or
volatile organic solvents (petrol, ace
-
tone etc.). This may damage the cam
-
era lens.
