CAUTION
僅 The setting of the Warning Timing
and Warning Volume applies to all
functions of the Rear Collision-Avoid

ance Assist.
僅 Even though Normal is selected for
Warning Timing, if the vehicles from
the blind spot area approaches at
high speed, the initial warning activa
-
tion time may seem late.
僅 Select Late for Warning Timing when
traffic is light and when driving speed
is slow.
NOTICE
If the vehicle is restarted, Warning Tim
-
ing and Warning Volume will maintain
the last setting.

Assist will warn and control the vehicle
depending on collision level

僅 Stopping vehicle and ending brake
control
Collision warning
僅 To warn the driver of an approaching
vehicle from the rear left/right side of
your vehicle, the warning light on the
outside rear view mirror will blink and
a warning will appear on the cluster.
At the same time, an audible warning
will sound and the steering wheel will
vibrate. If the Rear View Monitor is
operating, a warning will also appear
on the infotainment system screen. (if
equipped)
僅 Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoid

ance Assist will operate when all the
following conditions are satisfied:
- The gear is shifted to R (Reverse)
and the vehicle speed is below 8
km/h (5 mph)
- The approaching vehicle is within
approximately 25 m (82 ft.) from
the blind spot area of your vehicle
