Smart Liftgate with Auto Open

䳜 The key should be kept out of 

reach of children. Children may 
inadvertently open the Smart 
Liftgate with Auto Open while 
playing around the rear area of 
the vehicle.

CAUTION

Liftgate lift

Make certain that you close the lift

gate before driving your vehicle. 
Possible damage may occur to the 
liftgate gas lifters and attached 
hardware if the liftgate is not closed 
prior to driving.

How to deactivate the Smart Lift

gate with Auto Open function using 
the smart key

1. Remote start
2. Power sliding door opening 

(Driver's side)

3. Power sliding door opening (Pas

-

senger's side)

4. Door lock
5. Door unlock
6. Liftgate unlock/open
7. Panic button

If you press any button of the smart 
key during the Detect and Alert 
stage, the Smart Liftgate with Auto 
Open function will be deactivated.

Make sure to be aware of how to 
deactivate the Smart Liftgate with 
Auto Open function for emergency 
situations.

NOTICE
