4/ Keeping the lower joint on the floor extend the
automatic joints as far away from the hub as possible as
shown in FIG 6.
5/ With one finger, the manual joint closest to the hub can
now be locked as in FIG 7.
6/ Move backwards around the tent to repeat the process
on the adjacent pole. Repeat the process on the 3
rd
and 4
th
pole as shown in FIG 8. Your tent is now in the camels
knees position (FIG 9)

When locking joint
B
on any of the main poles ensure that
point
C
and it’s connected fabric is as far from point
A
as
possible. This will make locking joint
B
easy to lock into
place.
Important if joint B is stiff in any way – DO NOT
FORCE………
This will break the joint. Simply move point
C
further
from point
A
