Care and Cleaning
The physio
key
design is robust and durable. Nevertheless, we strongly recommend treating the
physio
key
with great care like any other technical device. Insufficient or incorrect care and clean
-
ing may void the warranty. The same applies to gross negligence.
It is recommended to clean and disinfect both the device and the changable electrode head
part
after each therapy treatment and before the beginning of a new therapy treatment with different
patients.
Please proceed as follows:
•
Switch off the physio
key
after each use.
•
Recommendation: Clean the physio
key
after each use.
•
Apply cleaning agent on a moist soft piece of cloth.
•
Wipe off the device.
•
Remove and wipe off the changeable electrode head.
•
Wipe afterwards with a moist cleaning cloth without cleaning agent.
Isopropyl alcohol is to be used for disinfection. Alternative procedures must align with national
requirements and the Robert-Koch-Institute’s recommendations (Germany). Avoid the use of eth
-
anol, especially on the parts (display) made from acryl!
Please note that the physio
key
is not waterproof. For this reason, all parts should only be handled
with a piece of cloth moistened with cleaning agent. If required, the device can be cleaned exten
-
sively with the following means:
•
Soap solution (dilution)
•
Grease detergent (dilution)
Ensure that no humidity penetrates the interior of the device.
