Compatibility List for Mac OS - Notes

StyleWrite 4000 Printers

USA28 - These printers require their drivers to be
patched for use the Keyspan USB Serial Adapter. You
can do this with the Keyspan Serial Assistant. Please
see that product's documentation for details.

Epson Printers

USA28x, USA18x, SXPro4 - These printers require

'Epson Support' to be turned on in the Keyspan Serial

Assistant's Advanced Settings. Please see that
product's documentation for details.

HP DeskWriter 340

USA28x, USA18x, SXPro4 - This printer may work

using an older version of the DeskWriter 310 printer

drivers (lower than v6.0.3).

AppleTalk

any - any software or printer that uses AppleTalk or

LocalTalk is not compatible with any USB to Serial

Adapter. There are other solutions to hooking up
AppleTalk printers via Ethernet. Unfortunately,
Keyspan does not make these products.
