Preparing Your Power Supply
Checking the shipment
When you receive your power supply, check the shipment according to the
following procedure.
1
Inspect the shipping container for damage. Signs of damage may include a
dented or torn shipping container or cushioning material that indicates signs
of unusual stress or compacting. Save the packaging material in case the
power supply needs to be returned.
2
Carefully remove the contents from the shipping container, and verify that the
standard accessories and your ordered options are included in the shipment
according to the standard shipped items list shown below.
3
For any question or problems, refer to the Keysight contact numbers on the
back of this manual.
Standard shipped items
Verify that you have received the following items in the shipment of your power
supply. If anything is found missing or damaged, please contact your nearest
Keysight Sales Office.
✔
One power cord
✔
One printed copy of the Certificate of Calibration
✔
One copy of the U8030A Series Product Reference CD-ROM
Keep the original packaging in case the power supply has to be returned to
Keysight in the future. If you return the power supply for service, attach a tag
identifying the owner and model number. Also, include a brief description of the
problem.
