3-6 Keysight N9923A Service Guide

Tests and Adjustments
Operational Check

Operational Check

Preset the instrument, press Preset (.) > Preset.

Leave the PORT 1 and Port 2 connectors open.

Press: Scale/Amptd > Ref Pos > 2 > Enter

Press: Scale > 1 > Enter

The trace should be between -1 and +1 dB. (S11 is displayed.)

Press: Measure

If the S22 soft key exists, press it to display S22.

The trace should be between -1 and +1 dB.

If the operational check fails, allow the instrument to warm up for 15

minutes and try again.
