Test Procedures
Connection Diagrams
The ValiFrame Type-C Multi-Standard Solution controls the ValiFrame
USB, ValiFrame DisplayPort or ValiFrame Thunderbolt application. They
will be started one after each other, and the DUT’s lanes will be connected
to the right instrument for each test, depending e.g. if currently TX or RX
test is running.
This leads to complex setups, which differ depending on the standard
applications you want to integrate.
Standard combination USB-TX & USB-RX
This setup allows to do RX- as well as TX tests of an USB Type-C device or
host at both lanes in one run. Once the calibrations are done, there’s no
reconnection needed during the test run.
The calibrations are done in the same way as for pure USB-RX tests (see
).
