Non-Volatile Memory Error
The switch controller module (34945EXT) has non-volatile memory which
holds the instrument configuration settings and switch control (SCPI)
commands. All of these settings were programmed at the factory so that
this custom instrument functions as it was designed.
If the instrument functionality is in question:

to confirm
that the
instrument interface controls are functioning properly.

If the State LEDs are abnormal, follow the steps on

To confirm that the instrument sequences are correct, access the
instrument web page at: http://U3020AS22-xxxx (xxxx = last four digits
of the serial number).

On the instrument web page, select "Browser Web Control," then
"Sequences..."

When the Sequence window appears, you should see a listing of
"Defined Sequences."

Compare the listed sequences to the sequences provided in

If you find the listing to be corrupt or you find missing sequences, a
reprogramming will be necessary.

If you don't find a problem with the existing sequence listing, the
problem may be related to the configuration settings that are part of
the switch control. Correcting the switch control settings will also
require a reprogramming procedure.
