Port Status LEDs

The LED indicators show the active RF Port paths. The Test Port 1-1

Reflection Port
— When
the Reflection
Port is switched to
a Test
Port, th

LED
above the
Port will display green.
— When the command rpterm is executed, all Reflection P ort side switches
(1-16) will be terminated to 50 Ohms and all green LEDs will be turned
OFF.
— When the command refl_term is executed, the Reflection Port will be
terminated to 50 Ohms and all green LEDs will be turned OFF.
Transmission Port
— When
the Transmission
Port is switched to
a Test
Port, th
e
LED
above the
Port
will display
yellow
.
— When the command tpterm is executed, all Transmission P ort side
switches (1-16) will be terminated to 50 Ohms and all yellow LEDS will
be turned OFF.
— When the command trans_term is executed, the Transmission Port will be
terminated to 50 Ohms and all yellow LEDs will be turned OFF.
If you see both a green and yellow LED indication over a Test Port, this is
an error state indication. This will happen when two switch commands are
executed to configure the Reflection and Transmission Ports to the same
Test Port. For example, sending command
rp1
then
tp1
to the Test Set,
both Port 1 LEDs will display green and yellow. To correct this error, you
will have to resend the two switch commands with different test port
selections to reset the display and switches. To avoid this switch
configuration error, don't send switch commands that select the same
Test Port .
