 N4373D Lightwave Component Analyzer, User’s Guide

Differential OE measurements

For OE measurements the single-ended (SE), logical port 1 is 
assigned to physical port 1 and the balanced (BAL), logical port 
2 is assigned to the physical ports 2 and 3 (see Figure 4).

Logical Port Mapping for OE measurement

For OE measurements, the LCA sets up traces for S22, S21, S33, 
S31 by default.

Differential EO measurements

For EO measurement the single-ended (SE), logical port 1 is 
assigned to physical port 4 and the balanced (BAL), logical port 
2 is assigned to physical ports 2 and 3 (see Figure 5)
