With wavelength meter. Averaging time given by wavelength meter,

span between the maximum and the minimum of all measured

wavelengths.

Conditions

Uninterrupted DFB laser source module output power, constant

wavelength and power level settings, coherence control off, controlled

environment and time span as specified.

The highest optical power obtainable at the end of a single-mode fiber

patchcord.
