4.6 Calibration of Tubes

Enters into the setting menu
Opens the tube calibration menu
Select a tube to be calibrated

refil the tube and eliminate any air
bubbles in the tube.
Adjusts the desired calibration volume
Adjusts the calibration speed
EXECUTE
the calibration
Follow the advices on the screen
Measure the dispensed Volume
Correct the Volume (edit current Vol.)
CHECK
the calibration
Note: For best calibration results the calibration should be
executed as close to the planned dispense as possible. This
based on the physical difference any tube offers regarding
pump expansion / relaxation between the pump rolls.
Note: The pump direction in the calibration mode is CCW !
Info: The pump calculates a ratio of dispensed volume and
motor steps. It will not recognize any changes coming from
tube aging, loss of tube flexibility e.g. ! Therefore; In case of
volume drifts the tube must be recalibrated.
After the completed Calibration the calibrated tube is availa-
ble in any desired program. The selection screen indicates
the specific range for any individual tube.
Programmed Pump rates above this volume will be corrected
to the Max Value (fastest motor movement)
Pump rates below this volume are corrected to the Min Value
