General precautionary safety measures
All appropriate DIN and VDE regulations and safety standards as well as all local and national safety standards should be followed
during the installation, operation, maintenance and repair of this system.
Personal Qualifications and Training
Any person operating, maintaining, inspecting or assembling this system must carry the appropriate qualifications to do so. The
overseeing and responsibility of persons operating this system must be properly regulated. In the case that the person does not
have the proper knowledge or training, they should not handle this system until they have received the proper training and instruction.
It is the responsibility of the owner that any persons working with this system are fully trained and thoroughly understand this ope-
rating manual. It should be documented who is allowed to handle this system.
Electrical Current Danger
This system operates on electrical currents and contains rotating mechanical parts. Not following all of the above safety regulati-
ons could result in damage to the unit, injury or possible death to the operator. Before any service, maintenance or repair work is
done to the unit the power must be disconnected! In the case that only a fuse connection is available, this fuse should be turned
off and marked to insure that mistaken re-connection of the fuse during work is ruled out. VDE 0100 regulations are valid for any
electrical work conducted on this pump. The pump must be connected to a RCD (Residual Current Device) with a measured cur-
rent error of no more than 30mA. It must be assured that the power supply cable as well as all other electrical pump parts are
always in perfect operating condition. In the case that the power supply cable or any pump parts are not in perfect operating
condition, the pump must immediately be taken out of operation. The power cable should not be kinked and should not be under
tension.
Burn Danger for Hands, Fingers and all Body Parts
During operation the pump can become hot. Be sure to take necessary precautions to prevent any burns to the body.
