7.3 Adjustment of the brush plate
Figure 1 (See Chapter 1 Illustrations on page 6) shows the adjustment of the brush
plate.
The tilt angle adjustment of the brush plate is made via the hydraulic cylinder or upper
link (03 and 04). The cylinder (03) pivots the brush plate laterally to the direction of
travel. The top link (04) pivots the brush plate forward or backward to the direction of
travel. With the top link
(05) the weed brush can be swiveled up to 40 °.
During road driving, the weed brush must be parallel to the tractor.
7.4 Adjusting the splash guard
Figure 1 (See Chapter 1 Illustrations on page 6) shows the components of the
splash guard.
Due to the rotation of the brush plate, materials such as weeds, stones and other
objects are thrown away. To prevent this material from leaving the work area, a
side splash guard (01, 08) is attached to the machine.
WARNING
Danger of injury / risk of environmental damage due to incorrectly set
splash guard!
Incorrectly adjusted splash guard may result in injury, risk of damage to the
environment and property (on the machine or system)!

guard
The setting of the splash guard depends on the setting of the brush plate and the
local conditions.
By loosening the clamping lever (17), the telescopic pivot arm (14) can be
adjusted at an angle. The same applies to the splash guard (01), which is
adjusted by the clamping lever (15) at an angle.
The telescopic swivel arm (14) of the splash guard must be moved in or out,
depending on the diameter and setting of the brush plate (02). The procedure is
as follows:
1.
Loosen the clamping lever (13) to the left
2. Pull the clamping lever (13)
3. Adjust the telescopic swivel arm (14)
4. Release the clamping lever (13); Make sure that it engages in a hole
5. Tighten the clamping lever (13) to the right
