5 Transport, Packaging and Storage
Assembly, installation and commissioning are carried out exclusively by employees
of the dealer or by persons authorized by him.
Nevertheless, it may happen that operators or maintenance personnel of the
operator are entrusted with the handling of packages during the installation and
further use. The following notes
be sure to pay attention.
5.1 Safety
It is essential to observe all the safety instructions listed in
the chapter Safety!
(See chapter 3 Safety on page 14)
5.2 Transport Inspection
Upon receipt, check the delivery for completeness and shipping damage.
For externally visible transport damage, proceed as follows:
•
Do not accept delivery or only with reservations.
• Note the extent of damage on the transport documents or on the delivery
note of the transporter.
• Initiate a complaint.
Claim any shortcoming as soon as it is recognized. Claims for damages can only
be asserted within the applicable complaint period.
