ENCLOSURE 1
MODEL-1 BOLT REMOVAL GUIDE
1.
Secure cover to body with clamps on sizes 6" and smaller.
2.
Spray penetrating oil on bolt surface
3.
Tap bolt 3 to 4 times to loosen rust around threads
4.
Position punch at the center of the bolt and tap 3 to 4 times
5.
Apply cutting oil (provided) to bolt surface
6.
Drill shallow hole (1/4" to 3/8" deep) into bolt head with proper size cobalt bit (see size
chart listed below)
7.
Tap easy-out into drilled hole until tight
8.
Turn easy-out in a counter clockwise direction with a small wrench to remove bolt
