MAXIMUM CAPACITY
The maximum capacity is 1 kg of food waste per drying cycle. This may be less, de

pending on the food waste consistency
The cast-iron waste container (

) can only be filled up to the maximum capacity
mark.
Filling beyond the maximum capacity mark can damage the device or cause a mal
-
function.
ENERGY-SAVING TIPS
Responsible energy consumption not only benefits the household budget, but also
respects the environment. Play your part! Save electrical energy!
You can do the following:
•
Wherever possible, start the device with a full container (Max 1 kg).
•
Leave organic waste to drain in a sieve before putting in the container.The dryer the waste,
the shorter the drying procedure.
•
Reduce the size of fruit waste before putting in the container.
•
Press citrus fruit waste over the sink and reduce it before putting in the container.
BEFORE USING FOR THE FIRST TIME:
1. Open the filter cover trap (

) on the rear of the device and unhinge.
2. Remove the protective film (
b
) from the active carbon filters.
3. Place the double air guide hood (
c
) on the filter.
4. Unhinge the filter cover trap again and apply light pressure to the points marked
with the arrows (

) to press open and/or close.
