Model V T - 1 7 6 , and V T - 1 7 7 are d u a l -
channel electronic voltmeter sets having t w o indepen-
dent A C v o l t m e t e r s in a single cabinet. Two-pointer
meter a l l o w s easy dual measurements and inter-channel
comparisons.
V T - 1 7 6 , and V T - 1 7 7 also are wideband, high sensitive
voltmeter f o r use anywhere voltage measurements are
made, w i t h a remote control unit. The easy-to-use
voltmeter provides frequency response a s wide a s 5 Hz
to 1 M H z , measurable range f r o m 0.3mV to 100V,
and input impedance of 1 0 M I 2 . The optional remote
control feature is convenient f o r measurement in
production lines.
The Model V T - 1 7 7 is same a s V T - 1 7 6 type in design
and specifications. Range indicator lamp is prepared
on the top side of dual pointer meter and remote
control of range s w i t c h i n g is a v a i l a b e to check the
input range.
V T - 1 7 7 is measuring range can be remotely controlled
by R T - 6 2 . ( V T - 1 7 6 : R T - 6 1 )
a . T w o power source c i r c u i t s , positive and negative,
are provided f o r very stable D C bias and recover
f r o m any overload in a v e r y short t i m e .
b. Small-sized compact construction is easy to c a r r y
and large-sized two-pointer meter is easy to read.
c. Four-scale dial plate and red and black pointers
a l l o w quick, and accurate voltage reading.
d. Numder of adjusting t r i m m e r s are minimized w i t h
a m p l i f i e r s t h a t are precisely calculated in open
loop gains and are negative feedbacked through
m e t a l - f i l m resistors a s accurate a s 1%.
A m p l i f i e r c h a r a c t e r i s t i c s therefore are free f r o m
secular change.
e. Input impedance is a s high a s 1 0 M O on a l l ranges
and its parallel capacitance less than 45pF
f. In direct a t t e n u a t o r s w i t c h i n g by relay and F E T
( f i e l d - e f f e c t - t r a n s i s t o r ) s w i t c h provide higher
r e l i a b i l i t y , signal-to-noise r a t i o , and inter-channel
c r o s s t a l k than most previous direct method of
r o t a r y s w i t c h .
