DTMF CALLS
Note:
To make DTMF calls, you must use an optional microphone with a DTMF keypad.

Press and hold the
PTT
switch.

Enter the desired digits using the keypad.
• If Keypad Auto-PTT is enabled by your dealer, you do not need to press the
PTT
switch to transmit; you can make the call simply by pressing the keys.

UTODIAL
Autodial allows you to quickly call DTMF numbers that have been programmed onto your transceiver.

Press the key programmed as
Autodial
.

Press / (if the key assignment list selection is configured as “Enabled”) or
<B

C>
to select an
autodial list number.
• You can also enter a number from 01 ~ 16 directly using the keypad.

Press
the
PTT
switch to make the call.

Storing an Autodial Entry

a memory location number.

to enter a name for the list number.

Press / to select a digit.

to accept the entered digit and move the cursor to the right.
• Press

to delete an incorrect digit. Press and hold

to delete all
digits.

Repeat steps 4 and 5 to enter the entire name.

Press
S
to accept the name and enter a number.

Press / to select a digit.
• You can also enter digits directly using the keypad.

to accept the entered digit and move the cursor to the right.

to delete an incorrect digit. Press and hold

to delete all

Repeat steps 8 and 9 to enter the entire number.
