the inside - self clean
To make your iron last longer, do this
at least once a month.
1 Fill the water tank a quarter full with
water.
2 Place the iron on a surface in an
upright position and plug into the
power supply. Make sure the
variable steam control is set
to .
3 Turn the temperature control to the
maximum setting.
4 Wait for the iron to reach the
selected temperature. Then wait for
one more cycle ie wait for the red
light to come on and go off again.
5 Turn the temperature control to the
minimum setting.
6 Disconnect the iron from the power
supply and hold in a horizontal
position over a sink.
7 Turn the variable steam control to
and hold in place. Steam and
boiling water will drain from the holes
in the soleplate washing away the
scale and minerals that have built up
inside the steam chamber.
8 Gently move the iron back and
forward until the water tank is empty.
9 When self cleaning is complete,
release the variable steam control.
10 Rest the iron on its heel and allow to
cool.
11 Wipe the soleplate with a damp
cloth, then dry.
●
Before the next use, iron an old cloth
to make sure the soleplate and
water tank are clean.
