The menu display, the operation method, and
the operation key depend the disc being played.
For details, refer to the instructions enclosed
with your disc.
With a disc incorporating PBC, a menu is displayed on the TV screen so that you can select the desired
tracks to be played with simple interactive operations.
Before operating, set the NTSC/PAL switch of this unit according to the TV format (country or region)
and disc.

Key error display
If a wrong key is pressed when operating the
unit, a hand mark is displayed at the top left
corner of the TV monitor screen.

When PBC is ON and a VIDEO CD (with PBC) is
played, the playback control functions, includ-
ing the menu display, operate automatically.
A conventional music CD or VIDEO CD without
PBC can be played normally even when the
"PBC" indicator is lit.
