4.6.3 EtherCAT "LAN2 / ECAT" (X3)
The on-board 10/100/1000 Mbit base-T Ethernet adapter attaches the unit to a network through its RJ-45
connector. The LEDs labelled "LNK" and "RCV" tell you whether the unit is properly connected to the
network.
Use Ethernet adapter LAN2 / ECAT to link in any other Ethernet-based fieldbus system such as EtherCAT or
Profinet. Use your CODESYS project to configure both the interface and the network.

Information
Enter the Ethernet module's identification at X3 for use as licence MAC ID. The LAN
configuration of Windows Embedded Compact 2013 lists this connector as ETHNETA1.
