Backwash water drained into a floor drain
Backwash automatic with connection to the drainage system
The backwash water can be drained both with a connection to the wastewater system as well
as air brake drained into a container or floor drain.
The Kemper automatic backwash system
must be connected to the wastewater system
vertically in the direction of flow. This is the
only way to guarantee that the drain funnel
will work properly.
Note!
Directly after the drain an anti-siphon
trap should be provided (see Illustration 1,
Chapter 1). An easily accessible installation
point simplifies maintenance and inspections.
Note!
The drain line has to have sufficient capacity.
This is designed according to DIN 1986-100
in conjunction with DIN EN 752 and DIN EN
12056. An incorrectly designed drain line can
lead to a malfunction of the drain.
Note!
If the backwash water is drained into a floor
drain, make sure that the backwash water
volume can be transported off at all times.
No remnant water volume is permitted to
remain in the room.
