Functional test at
KEMPER Backflow Preventer type BA
(secondary check valve)
Open the stop valve in front of the Backflow Preventer.
Open test valve C, read the pressure on the scale and write it down.
Close the stop valve in front of the Backflow Preventer. Release the pressure via
the isolation valve on the test hose B. A slight pressure drop can occur.
Wait at least 2 minutes. If no further pressure drop occurs, the secondary check
valve is ok.

Follow the operating instructions enclosed with the backflow
preventer for additional maintenance work. That also applies to
the installation of original spare parts.
